Uploading a Database to Your Site  Directory

Uploading a MySQL database is easy! Using your favorite FTP software, upload your to a directory inside your root. If this database belongs to a script that you are installing, follow the scripts directions as to where in your root system to place it. If it does not specify, we suggest placing it in a directory named  /databases, which you will create beforehand.

Once your database is in place, go to Plesk Control Panel.

1. Choose the domain name you have uploaded the database to.
2. Click on NEW DATABASE command button.
3. Enter the name of your new database.
4. If Plesk cannot locate the new database, you will be prompted to locate it in a standard Windows dialog box.

You now have a new database!
